The Polygonum aviculare, known as Grasshopper, is an annual herbaceous plant of the family Polygonaceae. It grows to a height of 10-50 cm, with thin, branched shoots that extend horizontally along the ground. Its leaves are small, elliptical to lanceolate, and its flowers are green with pink margins, blooming from spring to autumn.
