Bedeguar tincture is prepared from the Bedeguar gall (also known as Rose Bedeguar or Moss Gall), a characteristic abnormal growth that appears on various species of wild rose (Rosa spp.), usually due to infestation by the wasp Diplolepis rosae. Traditionally, this herbal preparation is used for its astringent, anti-inflammatory and soothing properties.
