Alkanna tinctoria tincture (Alkanna or Dyer’s alkanet) is derived from the root of the plant and is known for its anti-inflammatory, healing and antimicrobial properties. Alkanna contains pigments and active constituents that make it an effective aid for skin care and the treatment of skin conditions.
