Το βάμμα Tanacetum balsamita, γνωστό και ως βάλσαμο ή αρτεμισία του βάλσαμου, προέρχεται από το φυτό Balsamita major και ανήκει στην οικογένεια των Asteraceae. Χρησιμοποιείται παραδοσιακά για τις πεπτικές, αντισπασμωδικές και αντιμικροβιακές του ιδιότητες, καθώς και για την ανακούφιση από δερματικούς ερεθισμούς και την καταπράυνση του νευρικού συστήματος.
