Το φυτό Benoit, γνωστό και ως Geum urbanum (λατινική ονομασία), ονομάζεται στα ελληνικά Γεώμηλο ή Γεουμηλία. Το βάμμα από το Geum urbanum χρησιμοποιείται στη φυτοθεραπεία κυρίως για τις στυπτικές, αντιφλεγμονώδεις, αντισηπτικές, και πεπτικές του ιδιότητες.

- Protects against microbial infections and supports oral and throat health.

- Βοηθά σε περιπτώσεις δυσπεψίας και μειώνει τη ναυτία.

Αναλγητική και ηρεμιστική δράση
- Χρησιμοποιείται για την ανακούφιση ελαφρών πόνων, ειδικά σε περιπτώσεις πονόδοντου
Indications for Use
- Diarrhea and gastrointestinal disorders
- Φλεγμονές του στόματος και του λαιμού (π.χ., ουλίτιδα, φαρυγγίτιδα)
- Indigestion and stomach discomfort
- Tooth pain or irritation from ulcerative mouth sores
Dosage
10-20 drops in a little water or decoction, 1-2 times a day.
Precautions and Side Effects
- Contraindicated in individuals sensitive to plants of the Rosaceae family.
- In high doses, it may cause constipation due to its astringent action.
