The plant Benoit, also known as Geum urbanum (Latin name), is called Geomylo or Geoumelia in Greek. The tincture from Geum urbanum is used in phytotherapy mainly for its astringent, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and digestive properties.

Indications for Use

- Toothache or irritation from ulcerative sores in the mouth
Dosage
10-20 drops in a little water or decoction, 1-2 times a day.
Precautions and Side Effects
- Contraindicated in individuals sensitive to plants of the Rosaceae family.
- In high doses it may cause constipation due to its astringent action.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding: To be used with caution and after consulting a specialist.
