The Lycopodium clavatum, is a plant of the Lycopodiaceae family. It grows mainly in forests, with monocotyledonous stems and small, dense leaves. It produces tiny seeds that are used for medicinal purposes.
Chemical composition of tincture:

- Polysaccharides (Beta-glucan polysaccharides)
- Glycosides (Lycopodioside)
Pharmacological properties and actions:
- Analgesic action: It is used to reduce pain and discomfort in cases of joint or muscle pain.
- Anti-inflammatory action: It helps fight inflammation, especially in areas where there is swelling or a feeling of pressure.
- Antiseptic action: It has mild antibacterial properties and is indicated for reducing infections.
- Firming action: It can be used to relieve intestinal disorders by helping smooth bowel movements.
Indications for use:
- Urinary system disorders: In cases where there are disorders such as dysuria or urinary tract inflammation.
- Arthritis and muscle pain: It is used to reduce symptoms in cases of arthritis and muscle pain.
- Gastrointestinal disorders: It is used to relieve the digestive system in cases of bloating or indigestion.
- Respiratory system problems: It is used as an aid to combat mild respiratory problems such as cough.
How to use:
10-15 drops diluted in water or decoction, 1-2 times a day.
Precautions and side effects:
- Side effects: It may cause mild allergic reactions or gastrointestinal discomfort, such as nausea or vomiting.
- Drug interactions: It may interact with medications that affect the liver or respiratory system.
- Unsuitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women: Not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.
