SCHUESSLER TISSUE SALTS

Tissue salts have existed as an independent therapeutic method since the 19th century. Dr. Wilhelm Schuessler (1821-1889) was a man of extraordinary intellect, a doctor of medicine and biochemist who was far ahead of his time. He developed the tissue salts, which later took his name, “Schuessler salts”, using a unique system of cell therapy, the chemistry of living tissues.
Schuessler was born in Germany where he studied medicine and was later a student of the founder of Homeopathy, Samuel Hahnemann. Hahnemann dealt with cell salts through the homeopathic approach of treating the cause of disease holistically, with the ultimate goal of the patient's health in the threefold body – mind – spirit. Schuessler, influenced by his teacher, advanced his thinking on the already existing treatment of salts, this time according to the nutritive and restorative value that each mineral salt had on an exhausted tissue. Schuessler's discoveries led him to adopt a nutritional approach to medicine, which was based on replenishing the mineral salt as a nutrient according to the symptoms the patient presented.

For the preparation of the therapeutic salts, Schuessler followed the method of homeopathic dynamization, with the difference that he used small dilutions with a view to the nutritional restoration of depleted cellular tissue.

Schuessler's logic behind creating the 12 salts as
therapeutic method.
Schuessler studied cell salts in depth and according to their healing properties, he distinguished them into 12 different biochemical substances.
The 12 tissue salts are:
Calcarea Fluorica, Calcarea Phosphorica, Calcarea Sulphurica, Ferrum Phosphoricum, Kalium Muriaticum, Kalium Phosphoricum, Kalium Sulphuricum, Magnesia Phosphorica, Natrium Muriaticum, Natrium Phosphoricum, Natrium Sulphuricum and Silicea.
The above inorganic elements, although present in very small quantities, are the real workers that make up the vital structure of our entire organism, as they have constructive and cytoregulatory properties!
The human body is made up of twelve vital minerals and salts, the correct balance of which is essential for cell functions and maintaining good health. When the cellular balance is disturbed, due to a lack of one or more vital salts, then an abnormal situation follows that leads to various diseases. If the blood does not have the necessary amounts of these vital elements, then the rebuilding process cannot continue in a normal way and this causes the onset of disorder or disease.

According to Dr. Schuessler, the balance of cellular functions can be restored by administering the deficient mineral salts in an easily digestible form which are now known as Schuessler salts. Schuessler found that the most efficient way to assimilate these salts was through the homeopathic preparation, which quickly passes into the bloodstream and therefore into our cells.
In this way, the original material is diluted and then the method of dynamization is carried out, which allows the healing powers of the materials to work. For the easily soluble minerals Schussler chose the 6X homeopathic potency and for the heavy soluble salts the 12X homeopathic potency.

Schussler's 12 salts
1. Calcarea Fluorica – Calcium Fluoride
This salt is known as the natural producer of elasticity and is found in bones, tooth enamel, blood vessel walls, skin and is the main component of the body's elastic fibers.
2. Calcarea Phoshorica – Calcium Phosphate
Calcarea Phosphorica is found in bones, cartilage, tendons, inner parts of teeth and digestive fluids. It is an important component of bone tissue and body fluids. It improves blood circulation and helps digestion of food.
3. Calcarea Sulphurica - Calcium Sulphate
It is found in the epithelial tissue and participates in blood clotting. It is known as a powerful blood healer and detoxifier, as it eliminates the remains of digestion. It is also considered as the protector of the walls of the stomach, eyeballs, nasal passages, mouth, throat, bladder and other organs that need protection from moisture. Its presence is important for the degradation of aged red blood cells when their life cycle is over.
4. Ferrum Phoshoricum – Iron Phosphate
This cellular salt is important for blood oxygenation as it carries oxygen to all parts of the body. It also acts as a catalyst of oxidations and keeps the vessel walls strong.
5. Kalium Muriaticum – Potassium Chloride
It is found in the skin, mucous membranes, glands, nervous and digestive systems. It plays the role of a "cleaner", as it helps to destroy unnecessary materials. It keeps the cell fluids in balance and its action is deep and subtle. It is a component of muscle and brain cells.
6. Kalium Phosphoricum – Potassium Phosphate
This cell salt is known for its effect on the nerve tissue of the central nervous system, brain and muscle tissue.
7. Kalium Sulphuricum - Potassium Sulphate
It is related to the flow of oxygen to all cells of the body and is found in the skin, mucous membranes of internal organs, hair and nails.
8. Magnesia Phosphorica - Magnesium Phosphate
It is found abundantly in the body mainly in muscles, teeth, bones, gray matter of the brain and red blood cells. It is known for its anticonvulsant properties.
9.Natrium Muriaticum - Sodium Chloride
It is the main component of citrus and has a tendency to retain water. It is the distributor of water, it restores and normalizes the fluid balance.
10. Natrium Phosphoricum - Sodium Phosphate
This salt is known as an "Alkalizer" and is found in the blood, brain, nerves, intracellular fluid and enhances digestive health and the body's acid-base balance.
11. Natrium Sulphuricum - Sodium Sulphate
The right liver detox salt. It is found in the intracellular fluid and is the regulator of excess fluids from the body tissues. It also participates in the decomposition of aged cells and helps detoxify the body.
12. Silicea – Silicon
Silicon is found in connective tissue, brain, spine, hair, nails and skin. It provides strength and resilience to the body and acts as a nerve insulator. Its presence is important for the good functioning of joints and mucous membranes.

The use of Shuessler biochemical salts, following the advice of the specialist therapist / doctor, is safe without toxic effects and risk of unwanted side effects. They are often combined alongside other therapies to support the beneficial effects
results. They are suitable for all age groups and equally important in the treatment of animals.
