Characteristics of oregano
Oregano (Origanum vulgare) is a bushy aromatic plant that grows wild in coastal, mountainous and island areas. It belongs to the Oregano species and is widely grown in the Mediterranean countries and Central Asia. Its height reaches up to 80 cm and consists of woody branches with aromatic green leaves. Oregano bears purple-white flowers that bloom in early summer and in mid-autumn, which are also harvest times. - Room cleaner: Put 6-7 drops of oregano essential oil in 100 ml of water and spray at the entrance of the house and winter clothes, blankets before seasonal storage. Leave to dry in the sun and store the clothes in the closet with sachets of oregano and lavender that repels moths and other pests.
