Characteristics of oregano
Oregano (Origanum vulgare) is a bushy aromatic plant that grows wild in coastal, mountainous and island areas. It belongs to the Oregano species and is widely grown in the Mediterranean countries and Central Asia. Its height reaches up to 80 cm and consists of woody branches with aromatic green leaves. Oregano bears purple-white flowers that bloom in early summer and in mid-autumn, which are also harvest times. Oregano is a suitable plant for creating a rock garden, it doesn't have many requirements to grow and gives rich vegetation when it is in sunny places.
It should be noted that oregano oil contains the main component carvacrol in a percentage ranging from 70% to 85%, while in native populations it can reach 90%. The yield of oregano oil and carvacrol depends on the variety, climate, region, fertilization and harvest stage.

History of oregano
The first recorded references to the use of the herb are directed to Assyrian and Ancient Greek healers in 3000 BC. Hippocrates and Diskourides used oregano as a decoction or crushed, for respiratory problems, colic pains, against diarrhea and as an appetite enhancer. They also noticed the animals to

Its aroma and taste have inspired folk tradition, mandinades, folklore and Mediterranean cuisine, creating delicious recipes. One of the first uses of oregano oil was to treat headache, respiratory ailments and to relieve insect bites. It has also been used as a traditional remedy for asthma, joint pain and cramps.

Instructions for use

- Oregano essential oil can be consumed internally on the advice of a health professional, always diluted and in small quantities. *

- It is used in the food industry and in the preparation of spices.
- Room cleaner: Put 6-7 drops of oregano essential oil in 100 ml of water and spray at the entrance of the house and winter clothes, blankets before seasonal storage. Leave to dry in the sun and store the clothes in the closet with sachets of oregano and lavender that repels moths and other pests.
- Combined with rosemary and lavender as an anti-fungal treatment

Ayurveda
The consumption of oregano is recommended by Ayurveda to deal with excess kapha – earth and fluid retention. Calms the air element and stimulates the digestive fire improving the digestion process. It relieves bloating of the intestines and cleanses the internal channels of toxins.

Helpful tips
- Its internal consumption should be recommended by the doctor or pharmacist.
- Essential oils should be used in small quantities and always dissolved in a base oil or another carrier.
Their use should be avoided during pregnancy, breastfeeding and by small children.
Avoid direct contact with the skin, eyes, mouth and exposure to the sun after use.

Necessary conditions are the presentation of the receipt/invoice inside the package and the condition of the products. The products should be like new and not have been opened or used. There are specific products that cannot be returned for health reasons. After we have received and checked your return package, we will then issue the corresponding Voucher/Gift Card with the same amount of money which you will be able to use on our site.

In the event that your products must be fully withdrawn we issue your refund using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

Return costs are free of charge but excluding additional costs due to your choice to use a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery method we offer.
